Getting Here

Tunja is located in the state of Boyoca, 140km northeast of Bogota. The drive to Tunja is a scenic and comfortable 2-2:30h from Bogota or 2:45h directly from Bogota’s El Dorado Airport (BOG) along the Pan-American Highway (Route 55).
 
For those of you living outside Colombia, we recommend you to fly into Bogota and drive to Tunja from there.

Bogota’s El Dorado International Airport (BOG) is the central hub of Colombia. It’s a modern airport with Duty Free shopping, free Wifi, money exchange and a handful of restaurants and bars. With daily International and domestic flights from many major cities around the world, you will find traveling to Bogota to be an easy trip. Some of the main airlines that fly into Bogota include:

Transportation from Bogota to Tunja

You can choose from many travel operators, shuttles or taxis who can take you to Tunja, which is a 2-3 hour drive.
